OK, I have had enough

Ok, here is my most recent update. I just came back from being in Summerland this weekend, and I am annoyed. It was my b-day on Saturday the 14th, and I went up there to spend it with my friends up there, but only ended up hanging out with 2 of my friends on my bday. So I was a little annoyed that no one else came out, but whatever. The most annoying thing was my car was acting wierd. I managed to get it home (I dont know how I did it but I made it) and I have decided, that I am now getting rid of the car. I have had enough of forking out money to repair it. So, I am gonna sell it for cheap, and then in a few months I will have saved up a good amount of money to put a down payment on a newer car. I have had enough of screwing around with old cars. They cost too much so I would rather get a new one.

i am still alive

Yes people, I am still alive...I know I haven't been posting, but when you have a day job to do, plus try to run a business in the evenings, there really isnt much time for trivial things such as blogs. I will try to update when I can, but no guarantees.

You know What Really Grinds My Gears?

Y0u know what really grinds my gears? People who decide that it is ok to take what someone says in a blog entry and turn it into an insult against the blogger. You know what? It is not fair. I mean, someone makes a general statement about how young teens dress, and maybe gives a fashion tip or 2, and then you turn it around and make some crack about the blogger's weight? I don't mind people having an opinion on what I have to say, but when you take something like that, and then verbally insult the blogger with the intent of hurting their feelings, that is just wrong. And what makes that worse is you don't even have the guts to sign your name to the comment. You just shield yourself behind being anonymous. If you don't like what I have to say, then fine, but don't be rude. If you do have a problem with what I have to say or want to voice your opinion, then at least put your name to your comments. To comment on someones blog and insult them without putting your name is a sign that you are a coward.

New Grind my Gears Segment

You know what really Grinds my Gears? These people who think it is cool to break into someones vehicle and steal stuff....I mean, come on...get a frigging life....I realize you are just trying to support a habit or whatever, but don't break into my vehicle to support it....I have 2 words for whoever was the one who broke into my truck and stole my vacuum, but I cannot say those words. All I can say is you better hope that if you have the balls to attempt to get into my truck again, that you get away quickly, and aren't caught on camera otherwise you will have trouble. And thats what Grinds my Gears.

Grind's My Gears

You know what really grinds my gears? These young teenage girls who wander around wearing almost nothing showing off what they have....I mean come on, you are basically still a kid....wear something more appropriate for your age. Yeah I know, you are just trying to get attention, well let me tell you this chicky, you are definitely getting attention, but it isn't the type of attention you should want. Its annoying to see people who are in there early to mid teens (13-16) who just flaunt what they have. You are still basically a kid! Act your age and wear something appropriate for your age group. Sheesh. Nobody should wear stuff that reveals too much. And here is another tip for you young teens who are, how should I put this, umm......more....gifted in the chest area.....maybe the flimsy paper thin t-shirt isn't for you...especially if you don't choose to wear a bra.....if you choose to wear a shirt like that, wear a bra....nobody wants to see your reaction to the fact that it is cold outside. And that's what grinds my gears. Stay tuned for more of "Grind My Gear's"

first day of work

Ok, first day of work....well, it was a good day, all the concerns I had about being away from home was ok. I didnt even think about it all day. However, I just dont think this job is for me. My knee is killing me so bad. I think i am going to work one more day, and then end up leaving that job. I just dont think I can handle it with my knee. So, I will most likely be coming home easter weekend. At least I can get my old job back with Enterprise. I left on good terms and have an open door there for me.

first day

Just thought I would post again. I had a good nights sleep after unpacking all my stuff...sort of...anyways, I woke up around noonish today, and basically for most of the day hung out with some friends up here. I start the new job tomorrow which will be interesting. At this point being up here is nice, however, I may be having second thoughts. I really miss everybody in Vancouver, and miss doing my stuff at the church. Don't get me wrong, I am hoping that I start feeling better, and I want things work out up here, but I may end up coming home....it all depends on my first week of work. I dont want to just give up and come home, but if this emotional state I am in doesn't go away, then I may consider coming home to Vancouver. For some reason, I just dont think that this is what God had in mind for me. I want to come back to Cariboo.... :(

Well, this is it folks

Well, this is it....my final night in vancouver. I leave tomorrow morning for Penticton. I found a place to live, at least for a month, so it is all good. It is definately going to be wierd for the first little while being away, but I will adjust. I already have connections to a church (Penticton Corps). The place I will be at has wireless internet, so I hope it works. I will try to blog as often as possible, and I will be on msn. Anyways, I must depart from this blog station as I need to go to the church to do sound for my last worship event for a long time. I will talk to all of you later.

Dangit All!!!

Ok, that place in Penticton fell through. So, I am still looking for a place to live...and I have less than one week. I still have a couple of leads, so I am quite sure I will find something before I start my new job.

Sitting on Pins and Needles

Ok, here is the new situation with the whole new job in Summerland.....I have been unable to find a house or whatever to live in, in summerland....however, I have met with a very nice couple who basically just bought their first house, and are looking to rent 2 rooms out so they can ease the burden of the bills. So, I met with them today in Penticton (yes the place is in Penticton) and they seem like a nice couple. They seem to like me, and were impressed with the fact that I brought 5 different reference letters. The vibe I was getting from them was that they wanted to give me the place right away, but they said that they want to be fair to the other people who also applied by meeting with them too....He said he will phone me tomorrow night to let me know the decision. I am hoping they say yes......the house is a 10 minute walk to the mall, and best of all, a 2 minute walk to Skaha Beach. Suntan in the summertime on the beach! :D yay....so I am hoping I get it....otherwise, I am somewhat screwed...I have a week to find a place if this doesnt work out. But I'm sure it will work out, so I am praying hard for it.

definate life change

Alright, I have left you people in suspense long enough :) .....I will now reveal to the people who read this blog, who were not present at sunday night's meeting at Cariboo. I announced that I had a job interview and that if I got the job, i would be moving. Well, I got the job after only being there for 10 minutes (very short interview), and me and a couple friends found a house to rent. Its a nice house and it is only $1200 a month including utilities. The kicker about all of this, is I will be moving away from Vancouver. I am going to be moving up to the Okanagan. More specifically, Summerland. So, Mark Touzeau, if you are reading this, I am in your territory now! Take that! Ha.

Possible Life Change Ahead?

Just as the title of this blog says, there is a possible life changing event that could happen to me within the next few months. I am not really going to go into it at this point, but I will blog it when the time is right. Lets just say, it will be a big thing for me. I just have to pray about it, and if it is God's will, then it will happen. If God has other plans, then I will wait, and trust him. I just have to be patient. I will post more info when there is more to post, and when I am ready to make it public. Peace for now!

Here is a scripture i found, and decided to post here. When you get to it, look at the bold section. I like that part.

~The wicked man flees though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion. When a country is rebellious, it has many rulers, but a man of understanding and knowledge maintains order. A ruler who oppresses the poor is like a driving rain that leaves no crops. Those who forsake the law praise the wicked, but those who keep the law resist them. Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the LORD understand it fully. Better a poor man whose walk is blameless than a rich man whose ways are perverse. He who keeps the law is a discerning son, but a companion of gluttons disgraces his father. He who increases his wealth by exorbitant interest amasses it for another, who will be kind to the poor. If anyone turns a deaf ear to the law, even his prayers are detestable. He who leads the upright along an evil path will fall into his own trap, but the blameless will receive a good inheritance. A rich man may be wise in his own eyes, but a poor man who has discernment sees through him. When the righteous triumph, there is great elation; but when the wicked rise to power, men go into hiding.
He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy. Blessed is the man who always fears the LORD, but he who hardens his heart falls into trouble. Like a roaring lion or a charging bear is a wicked man ruling over a helpless people. A tyrannical ruler lacks judgment, but he who hates ill-gotten gain will enjoy a long life. A man tormented by the guilt of murder will be a fugitive till death; let no one support him. He whose walk is blameless is kept safe, but he whose ways are perverse will suddenly fall. He who works his land will have abundant food, but the one who chases fantasies will have his fill of poverty.
A faithful man will be richly blessed, but one eager to get rich will not go unpunished. To show partiality is not good—yet a man will do wrong for a piece of bread. A stingy man is eager to get rich and is unaware that poverty awaits him. He who rebukes a man will in the end gain more favor than he who has a flattering tongue. He who robs his father or mother and says, "It's not wrong"—he is partner to him who destroys.

A greedy man stirs up dissension, but he who trusts in the LORD will prosper. He who trusts in himself is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom is kept safe. He who gives to the poor will lack nothing, but he who closes his eyes to them receives many curses.

When the wicked rise to power, people go into hiding; but when the wicked perish, the righteous thrive.~

Recent Activities

Well, here I post again, after a long while of well...not posting....Work is about the same, busy...and last week was really busy for me..especially wednesday/thursday. I got up on Wednesday morning around 9am, and was all set to relax before needing to go to work at 2pm...however things changed. Since I helped a friend of mine move the night before, I had one of my company cargovans. I got a call around noonish that another location needed that, so I was asked to take it to that branch. So I did. And when I was waiting around at that branch to get a ride back to my office, my phone rang...it was the corprate manager. He asked me if I could go to Calgary that afternoon. I said sure, as long as my shifts were covered that afternoon and the day after. I left Vancouver around 4pm wednesday, and drove straight to Calgary getting there around 5am our time which was 6am alberta time. I waited around until 7am when the guy from alberta showed up. I ended up missing my flight at 745am due to having to find the airport and getting there at 730am. So, I ended up catching the 9am flight which put me back in Vancouver around 940am. I went to my airport location, they drove me to another branch to get a car, so I could drive back to my office to get my car and go home....however, when I got there, my shift wasnt covered, so I ended up working until 6pm. I got home at 630pm, fell asleep at 7 and slept straight through till 9am friday morning. Talk about a long shift....and now my head office is mad because I totally worked more hours than allowed by labour relations, and are forcing me to take 2 days off next week. All because of having to pay out 18 hours of double-time pay. Oh well. At least the trip was fun. The flight home was cool, flying over the Rocky Mountains. It was so beautiful. And the view over the lower mainland was awesome. I wish I have been able to take pictures with my phone but the FCC rules prohibit phones from being used on the airplanes. Oh well. Anyways, this is it for now, another post will come soon.

Its a New Year

Well, 2007 is upon us now, and it is a year for change....Last year went alright for me, but this year will be better. I have lots of plans for this year, and I hope I can achieve what my goals are...New Years was fun this year. I went away for new years. I was up in Summerland hanging out with my friends and having fun. It was a great time. I love spending time with my summerland friends. Oh, and I like the winter up there. It looks so cool. It looks so pretty (yes, I used the word pretty...get over it) Work is going ok for now, and hopefully it gets better. My car is running pretty good for now, and I am working on some stuff for it. I plan on going back up to Summerland at the end of June, and yes, I am also thinking about making a slight detour to Vernon to see some of my friends there too. Well, this is it for now, just a quick note to give my readers something to see. I will post more soon.
