Possible Life Change Ahead?

Just as the title of this blog says, there is a possible life changing event that could happen to me within the next few months. I am not really going to go into it at this point, but I will blog it when the time is right. Lets just say, it will be a big thing for me. I just have to pray about it, and if it is God's will, then it will happen. If God has other plans, then I will wait, and trust him. I just have to be patient. I will post more info when there is more to post, and when I am ready to make it public. Peace for now!

Here is a scripture i found, and decided to post here. When you get to it, look at the bold section. I like that part.

~The wicked man flees though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion. When a country is rebellious, it has many rulers, but a man of understanding and knowledge maintains order. A ruler who oppresses the poor is like a driving rain that leaves no crops. Those who forsake the law praise the wicked, but those who keep the law resist them. Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the LORD understand it fully. Better a poor man whose walk is blameless than a rich man whose ways are perverse. He who keeps the law is a discerning son, but a companion of gluttons disgraces his father. He who increases his wealth by exorbitant interest amasses it for another, who will be kind to the poor. If anyone turns a deaf ear to the law, even his prayers are detestable. He who leads the upright along an evil path will fall into his own trap, but the blameless will receive a good inheritance. A rich man may be wise in his own eyes, but a poor man who has discernment sees through him. When the righteous triumph, there is great elation; but when the wicked rise to power, men go into hiding.
He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy. Blessed is the man who always fears the LORD, but he who hardens his heart falls into trouble. Like a roaring lion or a charging bear is a wicked man ruling over a helpless people. A tyrannical ruler lacks judgment, but he who hates ill-gotten gain will enjoy a long life. A man tormented by the guilt of murder will be a fugitive till death; let no one support him. He whose walk is blameless is kept safe, but he whose ways are perverse will suddenly fall. He who works his land will have abundant food, but the one who chases fantasies will have his fill of poverty.
A faithful man will be richly blessed, but one eager to get rich will not go unpunished. To show partiality is not good—yet a man will do wrong for a piece of bread. A stingy man is eager to get rich and is unaware that poverty awaits him. He who rebukes a man will in the end gain more favor than he who has a flattering tongue. He who robs his father or mother and says, "It's not wrong"—he is partner to him who destroys.

A greedy man stirs up dissension, but he who trusts in the LORD will prosper. He who trusts in himself is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom is kept safe. He who gives to the poor will lack nothing, but he who closes his eyes to them receives many curses.

When the wicked rise to power, people go into hiding; but when the wicked perish, the righteous thrive.~

Recent Activities

Well, here I post again, after a long while of well...not posting....Work is about the same, busy...and last week was really busy for me..especially wednesday/thursday. I got up on Wednesday morning around 9am, and was all set to relax before needing to go to work at 2pm...however things changed. Since I helped a friend of mine move the night before, I had one of my company cargovans. I got a call around noonish that another location needed that, so I was asked to take it to that branch. So I did. And when I was waiting around at that branch to get a ride back to my office, my phone rang...it was the corprate manager. He asked me if I could go to Calgary that afternoon. I said sure, as long as my shifts were covered that afternoon and the day after. I left Vancouver around 4pm wednesday, and drove straight to Calgary getting there around 5am our time which was 6am alberta time. I waited around until 7am when the guy from alberta showed up. I ended up missing my flight at 745am due to having to find the airport and getting there at 730am. So, I ended up catching the 9am flight which put me back in Vancouver around 940am. I went to my airport location, they drove me to another branch to get a car, so I could drive back to my office to get my car and go home....however, when I got there, my shift wasnt covered, so I ended up working until 6pm. I got home at 630pm, fell asleep at 7 and slept straight through till 9am friday morning. Talk about a long shift....and now my head office is mad because I totally worked more hours than allowed by labour relations, and are forcing me to take 2 days off next week. All because of having to pay out 18 hours of double-time pay. Oh well. At least the trip was fun. The flight home was cool, flying over the Rocky Mountains. It was so beautiful. And the view over the lower mainland was awesome. I wish I have been able to take pictures with my phone but the FCC rules prohibit phones from being used on the airplanes. Oh well. Anyways, this is it for now, another post will come soon.

Its a New Year

Well, 2007 is upon us now, and it is a year for change....Last year went alright for me, but this year will be better. I have lots of plans for this year, and I hope I can achieve what my goals are...New Years was fun this year. I went away for new years. I was up in Summerland hanging out with my friends and having fun. It was a great time. I love spending time with my summerland friends. Oh, and I like the winter up there. It looks so cool. It looks so pretty (yes, I used the word pretty...get over it) Work is going ok for now, and hopefully it gets better. My car is running pretty good for now, and I am working on some stuff for it. I plan on going back up to Summerland at the end of June, and yes, I am also thinking about making a slight detour to Vernon to see some of my friends there too. Well, this is it for now, just a quick note to give my readers something to see. I will post more soon.

In a good mood

Well, I quit one of my jobs this week (due to stuff I'm not going to talk about) and I feel great. I have felt better all week. I have been getting more sleep, and I have more free time to do what I want and to hang out with my friends. I still work during the day for ERAC, and thats cool, but I have enjoyed having my time back...Its great to be able to sleep properly at night, and to feel less stressed out. :)

Bitter.....

I just don't get women....i don't understand their logic...You flirt with someone a lot, and hug them and show interest in them, and when they are gonna ask you out, you decide to introduce them to your new b/f?? like, what the heck man! You lead us on, and when we get up the courage to ask you out, you decide before we ask, that your going to break our hearts? sheesh.....

Brrr

Well folks, winter is upon us, and so is the snow. There is nothing like going out in the morning, and seeing the snow on the trees and on the ground, it looks so cool. The only thing right now that I don't like is the fact that it is so cold out, it has frozen the hose at work, plus the parking lot is a skating rink. So, not only do I get to slip all over on ice, and spin car tires, not on purpose this time ;) but I also can't wash cars. So, we are letting out dirty cars for our customers. Great. At least our customers understand. Anyways, this is just a short blog, just enough to give my blog visitors to read :) I will post more when I am not so busy.

A Poem I Found

This is a poem I found tonite when I was kinda in a bitter mood, and was looking at some bitterness quotes.

When you get what you want in your struggle for
self and the world make you king for a day
just go to the mirror and look at yourself
and see what that man has to say.

For it isn't your father or mother or wife
whose judgement upon you must pass.
The fellow whose verdict counts most in
your life is the one staring back from the glass.

Some people may think your a straight
shootin' chum and call you a wonderful guy.
But the man in the glass says you're only
a bum if you can't look him straight in the eye.

He's the fellow to please, nevermind all the rest
for he's with you clear up to the end,
and you've passed your most dangerous, difficult test
if the man in the glass is your friend.

You may fool the whole world down the pathway of life,
and get pats on the back as you go,
But your final reward will be heartaches and tears
if you've cheated the man in the glass.

decisions

Well, its wednesday, the week is half over.....even with the day off we just had for thanksgiving, the end of the week, and a start of a free weekend is soon at hand. I have decided after much thought, that boy i need to get in shape. I look back at my yearbook picture, and I just flinch. I realized that I really let myself go since highschool, and need to re-evaluate what I am doing. I have therefore decided to go on a diet, and do exercises, and get into better shape. I was going to make it a new years resolution, but I'm not gonna wait that long to start. I am hoping that I can reach my goal by next summertime. The tough part will be the restrictions I am going to put on myself, like cutting certain foods out, and drink way less pop. I drink a tonne of pop right now, that its not even funny. Anyways, I must get some stuff done because I have work in a few hours, so I shall blog again soon.

You Have the Right to Remain Stupid

OK, I am getting tired of nearly getting run off the road by bad drivers. Today a guy went clear through a red light on Lougheed Highway, and nearly clipped the front end of the car I was driving. He was gonna get his though, because I chased him for 10 minutes while on the phone with the police who were on the way to intercept him when i went back to work. Serves him right for being an idiot. Some people should not be allowed to drive at all.

my roller coaster weekend

Well, this was a very interesting weekend for me, and it all started with thursday evening. I have had ups and downs this weekend. On thursday night, i blew the subwoofer in my car, which as many of you know, I really love my bass in my car :). Friday was an ok day, and was an awesome evening. I was at a party at the office until like 10:30, then came home and slept. Saturday was cool during the day going out to White Rock to see Mark and Naomi, and who can forget little Caleb :). I ended up getting replacement subs which are awesome. Then there was saturday night. I went to worship invasion which was held at Glad Tidings church in vancouver. It was such an awesome night. For the first time in my christian life, I felt God really really strongly. I have felt his presence before, but never like saturday night. Now onto sunday. I went with the family out to surrey to a relatives place for a baby shower for my new cousin, who is so adorable, and he had the cutest little baby mohawk. We went to leave from there to go to church, and my car wouldnt start. We got it jumped, and eventually got to church. Once there I shut it off, and then tried to start it again and it would not start. Needless to say, it was bad. I eventually with help from darren got it started, where at that time I drove it to my mechanic's shop and he fixed it today, which cost me like almost $300. The whole problem was the starter. Oh, and in reference to my last posting where I described my vision that I had and have had continuing, well I had another part of it revealed to me at WI. I'm still trying to sort it out, so I will post it in a not to distant future blog.

yeah, i blog now

Well, life as I know it seems to be at a crawl. Its the typical stuff that everyone goes through. You know what I mean...work, church, personal time...that kinda thing. Well, work is as usual, busy and annoying. I am being kept at 35 hours per week, and called part time, so that they don't need to call me full time and pay me benefits. I think it sucks, but with the amount of people moving around at work right now I can't tackle that issue until things settle down again in like 2 weeks. About a month ago I went on a camping trip/work related trip to the kootneys. It was a lot of fun spending time with some of the people from work outside of the work environment. We went up to pick up some of our trucks and SUV's that were rented for the forest fire up there, so we made a weekend out of it. I had lots of fun. The first night there, I slept in the back of an SUV, which was so comfortable, once I found the right position to lay in. I decided to have a cd playing very quietly when i was going to sleep. Dont worry, the vehicle I used had one of those systems where you turn it on with the key, and then turn the key off and pull it out, and the stereo would stay on for like 15 minutes then shut off. I was listening to a trance cd, and stared up at the stars. It was a clear and beautiful night. I got to one song on the cd, and for some reason I had a vision when it was playing. I heard the song, and I saw myself sitting on a mountain top overlooking a valley. It kind of looked like something out of a movie where the camera pans from looking at the sun, and then slowly moves down to the main character...I dont know what it was supposed to mean, but I have had that same vision again lately, with something else added into it....me, upset, and running down a deserted street in the pouring rain....I just dont know what to make of it, and I really would like to know what it meant. Well, now that my hands are cramping from typing, i am going to say farewell for now my friends.
